He wrote: “The season is over.” Later, while talking to Pinkvilla, Archana confirmed that The Kapil Sharma Show is coming to a close.
He said, “Yes, we have finished shooting the first season of TGIKS; We filmed the last episode of the season yesterday.” She later added: “There was a lot of fun and celebration on set. The show has had a great journey so far. It was a fun journey and we had some great moments on the sets.”The Kapil Sharma Show premiered on Netflix on March 30, 2024, with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as guests.

Announcing the release date, Netflix India wrote, “The way to your home is through laughter. The Kapil Sharma Show is coming every Saturday at 8 pm from March 30, exclusively on Netflix.”

Kapil was last seen in “Zvigato”, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). Directed by Nandita Das, he played a former factory manager who lost his job during the pandemic.
Sunil Grover was last seen in the lead role in Pathan and shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi. He will be seen in Sunflower Season 2 which will be released on ZEE5.
