The India Today-Axis My India poll predicts a huge BJP lead in Karnataka, which it lost to Congress just a few months ago. According to opinion polls, the BJP-led NDA could win more than 350 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats but will not cross the 400-seat mark. Meanwhile, the India TV-CNX poll suggests Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP and NDA are likely to sweep the election in Andhra Pradesh.

Several opinion pollsters like India Today-Axis My India, Today’s Chanakya, Times Now-ETG, C-Voter, and CSDS-Lokniti today released their predictions for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

After the last phase of voting on Saturday, June 1st, exit polls are being released by the survey agencies. Will the Bharatiya Janata Party come to power for the third time in a row or will the Opposition’s INDIA bloc succeed in ousting the BJP this time?

Exit polls are post-election polls that measure the mood of a country. It is an opinion poll that shows how many seats a political party is likely to win. The exit poll results may not match the official election results. The Election Commission of India will announce the official results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on June 4.

When will the exit poll results be announced?

The media started publishing exit polls after 18:30 on Saturday, 1 June. Exit polls can only be published after voting is complete. On April 19, the Election Commission suspended exit polls from 7 a.m. on April 19 to 6.30 p.m. on June 1, 2024.

The 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases, the first on April 17 and the last on June 1. Elections were held for 543 Lok Sabha seats. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be announced on June 4.

Meanwhile, parliamentary elections were held simultaneously in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. The results of the Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim Assembly polls will be announced on June 2, while the results of the Andhra Pradesh and Odisha Assembly polls will be announced on June 4.

As per the exit polls survey by News18 Poll Hub, the BJP-led NDA is leading the Andhra Pradesh elections by a big margin. NDA may get 19-22 seats among the 25 total seats contested.
