Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Launched: Ather Energy has been gearing up to unveil its latest electric scooter for some time now. However, the Rizta was spotted without camouflage before its official launch on 6th April. From a design perspective, Ather’s upcoming scooter looks more spacious and is expected to have a large storage space under the seat.
It looks very rounded and is intended as a family scooter. It also has a backrest for the rear passenger and Ather Electric claimed that the Rizta has the longest seat in its class. There also appears to be more storage space compared to the 450 series due to the larger base plate.
Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Price
The Ather Rizta Electric Scooter is available in two variants: Rizta S and Rizta Z. The base Rizta S variant is priced at Rs 1,09,999. The Rizta Z is available in two battery pack options: 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh, priced at Rs 1,24,999 and Rs 1,44,999 respectively (ex-showroom, Bangalore, with EMPS or Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). Rista S3 is available in solid colors. The Rizta Z is available in 7 colors including 3 solid colors and 4 dual color options.
Features of Ather Rizta Electric Scooter
New features first seen on the Aether scooter include built-in WhatsApp, the ability to reject calls with a preset message through the instrument console, built-in Alexa functionality, and a skid control feature which is the Aether’s version of traction control. As a family scooter, the Aether Rista offers 34 liters of storage space under the seat and 22 liters of storage space in the front, with the Aether trunk accessory designed specifically for this scooter.
Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Engine
The Ather Rizta and Rizta Z sub-variants have a 2.9 kWh battery capacity and a range of 123 km IDC (Indian driving conditions). Both variants of the Rista have a 350W portable charger that takes 6 hours and 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent. The second version of the Rizta Z has a battery capacity of 3.7 kWh and an IDC range of 160 km.
It comes with a 700W Ather Duo charger that charges the scooter from 0 to 80 percent in 4 hours 30 minutes. All variants of Ather Rista are powered by a PMSM engine with a maximum power of 4.3 kW and a top speed of 80 km/h. It has two driving modes: Jeep and Smart Eco.
Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Suspension, Brakes, Other Details
The Ather Rizta comes with a suspension comprising of telescopic forks and mono-shock, a 200mm disc for braking duties, and a 130mm drum at the rear and CBS (Combined Braking System). This family scooter has 165mm ground clearance, 780mm seat height, 119kg weight, 90pc front and 100pc rear tire configuration, and 12-inch wheels at both ends.
