Lok Sabha Elections: MVA Announces Seat Sharing in Maharashtra, Congress to Contest 17 Seats, Sena (UBT) 21, NCP (SP) 10: The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has finalized the seat-sharing formula in Maharashtra for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, with Shiv Sena (UBT) contesting 21 seats, Congress 17 seats and NCP (SP) 10 seats, the Sena said. MP Sanjay Raut made this announcement on Tuesday.
However, the Congress did not get any seats in Sangli, Mumbai South Central, or Bhiwandi in the seat-sharing agreement.
Addressing a joint press conference in the presence of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, Pawar said that there is no difference on any seat. “We had announced seat sharing by mutual consent,” Pawar said.

Maharashtra Lok Sabha elections scheduled
The Lok Sabha Elections in Maharashtra will be held in five phases between April 19 and May 20.
In the first phase, polling will be held on April 19 in Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondia, Gadchiroli-Chimur, and Chandrapur.
Constituencies like Buldhana, Akola, Amaravati, Wardha, Yavatmal-Washim, Hingoli, Nanded, and Parbhani will go to polls in the second phase on April 26.
In the third phase, polling will be held on May 7 in Raigad, Baramati, Osmanabad, Latur, Solapur, Madha, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg and Kolhapur.
Polling for the fourth phase will be held on May 13 in Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Raver, Jalna, Aurangabad, Maval, Pune, Shirur, Ahmednagar, Beed and Shirdi.
In the final phase, Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, Kalyan, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai South, and Mumbai South-Central will go to polls on May 20. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.
